Worship Service

If prayer is the life-blood of the church, worship is the beat of the heart... in rhythm, over time, bringing strength and life to the body of Christ. Our worship services are more contemporary than traditional. The songs may be new, but the object of our worship, Jesus Christ, has never changed. With a live band, projection equipment, solid preaching, and worshippers seeking the Spirit and truth, LFCC's worship is both inspiring and life-changing.

Bible-School

Some call it Sunday School, others Adult Bible Fellowship, we call it "spiritual growth". Just as the infant never remains on the bottle, neither should the Christian remain immature in his understanding of Christ or His Word. To encourage this spiritual growth, we offer regular, and "elective" classes and studies designed to get one beyond an introduction to Christ, into a mature relationship with Him.

Junior Church

Creative workshop experiences make Junior Church stand out in our church as an exciting ministry. With theme oriented lessons, and room decorations, young people, Ages 3 - Grade 5, have gone "Splashin' Through the Bible", and navigated the "Amazing Amazon". This ministry, with age appropriate and engaging workshop songs and lessons, introduces young people to Jesus, facilitates our desire to "let the little people come to (Him)".

Highway 111

Highway 111 is our Jr./Sr. High ministry that is named after Ephesians 4:5, "One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism." Each Sunday night, over 100 Jr./Sr. High come to worship with their own praise band, while engaging their minds to what God's Word means to them in their stage of life. Young people from nearly every school in Greene County unite weekly under the banner of Christ to proclaim His goodness.

Prime Time Tuesdays

This ministry was born out of a desire not to allow the contemporary setting of our Sunday morning worship service push out those who grew up with the grand old hymns of years past. Every Tuesday morning at 10:30 am, our seniors gather for a time of prayer, hymn-singing, and a lesson in the Word. Often this time is followed by fellowship, which usually centers around a meal. Most would testify to how precious this group has become to their church experience.

Children's Choir

Our children's choir (Heart-Song) recently was re-organized and it kicked off their performances by offering a two-night Christmas musical. With rave reviews, Heart-Song, occasionally appears during our Sunday morning worship time, to share the good news, and hard work they have put in. Practice for Heart-Song takes place every Wednesday immediately following J.A.M.

Men's Bible Study

These Bible studies are designed to help men understand their roles within the Christian family, in the workplace and in our community. All men, young and old, are welcome to participate.

Women's Bible Study

Exclusively for women, these Bible studies are designed to promote hearts in-line with God, in-love with their families, and in-shape to endure the struggles of this world. Over 40 women currently participate in our women's Bible Studies.
